Suspension of Bank.Codes API Services

We would like to inform you that on 22.08.2019 (Completion Date), will be acquired by TransferWise Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 07209813 at 6th Floor, Tea Building, 56 Shoreditch High Street, London E1 6JJ (“TransferWise”). As a result of this acquisition, TransferWise will temporarily suspend the API service on until further notice and due to the nature of this acquisition, your current agreement for the use of the API service on will be terminated as of the Completion Date.

For those users who hold active Premium API credits after the Completion Date, TransferWise will allow you to use such outstanding Premium API credits on substantially the same terms up and until 21.08.2020 (“Longstop Date”). Please be aware that any outstanding Premium API credits that are not used by the Longstop Date will expire and you will no longer be entitled to use the API service on until you agree to TransferWise Terms (as defined below) and purchase more API credits.

Following the Completion Date, if you wish to use the API services available on, you will be required to confirm acceptance to TransferWise’s terms and continues and TransferWise’s API policy (“TransferWise Terms”). Such terms are not dissimilar to the terms on which you currently use the API service.

New Terms and Conditions will be available once the new API Services will be up and running.

We are actively working to bring the new API Services as soon as possible. Unfortunately, at this moment, we are unable to give an exact date.

8. Will I be able to carry my remaining Premium API Credits to new API services when it is live?
Yes, you would be able to do so.
